The sites
Mississauga is one of the GTA’s main logistics hubs, with much of its warehouse space close to Pearson airport and the 401 and 410 corridors. We have cabled several logistics warehouses in the city for logistics operators.
Details of individual sites are shared on request, where the client allows it.
What a logistics warehouse needs from its network
In a logistics building the network serves handheld scanners, label printers, dock-door equipment and the warehouse management system, as well as the offices. Much of that traffic is wireless, so the access point drops on the warehouse floor matter as much as the drops at desks.
Racking and stock change how Wi-Fi behaves, which is why access point locations are worth checking with a wireless site survey before the cabling is priced. For work elsewhere in the city, see our Mississauga cabling page.
